Review: FTSE 100 on track to break 4-day losses.

U.K. stocks rose on Monday, increased by shares of energy and mining giants while oil prices rose and data showed growth in China's manufacturing sector.

Britain’s FTSE rose 0.4% to 7,342.37, after the Friday session, shares of BP PLC rose 1% and Royal Dutch Shell PLC added 0.7%. The advances were possible as crude oil rose 0.5% to almost three-week high.
