Review: U.S. stocks turn higher in early trade

U.S. stocks edged up in early trading on Monday, with the Dow reaching a new record, as investors were optimistic about second-quarter corporate profits.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.17 percent, at 21,867.79. The S&P 500 advanced 0.173537 percent, to 2,476.39. The Nasdaq Composite rose 0.29 percent, to 6,393.25.

    Obviously Wall Street is on track to its strongest months in 2017 as major benchmark indicies are in green territory
