U.S. employers have been hiring at a healthy clip for six months even as the economy has slowed to an anemic pace. Friday's jobs report for April will help answer a key question.
Global markets were mostly lower in nervous trading Friday ahead of a closely watched U.S. jobs-report that may influence interest rate decisions and the value of the U.S. dollar.
“There’s been far, far, far more money made by people in Wall Street through salesmanship abilities than through investment abilities,” Buffett said at the meeting, referring to hedge fund managers’ claims to investors that they can beat the market on a regular basis.
