Today on live ecn.mt5 accounts in the MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platform, Alpari clients have access to trading with the option of locking. This is the opportunity tens of thousands of traders have been waiting for since the MT5 platform was launched.
For already over a decade, hundreds of thousands of traders, investors and managers the world over have given preference to the MetaTrader platform from leading international developer, MetaQuotes Software Corp. The MT4 platform has long received deserved plaudits and popularity amongst Alpari clients, and today the company is aiming to perfect and make your work even more user-friendly with this new generation terminal.
The MT5 platform differs from the previous version in its more progressive algorithms for processing client operations, its speed and ease of use when conducting trades. However, taking into account trader needs to simultaneously open a trade in opposite directions and manage them separately, Alpari has updated MT5 and added this new opportunity of locking.
“The MT5 trading platform is the most modern of instruments for traders, combining far reaching opportunities of manual and algorithmic trading, analysis, social trading and support for various mobile platforms. However, we never stand still and rest on our laurels, so IT specialists at Alpari have taken trader wishes into account and have realized this important addition to MT5 – the option of locking – in a very short time span. We are still lifting the bar for high quality service, introducing innovative products and financial technology for successful trading,” noted Alpari CEO, Boris Shilov.
Now live ecn.mt5 accounts will open with this option as standard. Clients who have already registered to work in this platform before the release of the update will continue to trade at the previous conditions. Meanwhile, clients who would like to start their work using the previous version – netting MT5 – can submit a corresponding request to do so and will be transferred to it on a case by case basis. In the future Alpari plans to make the switch between the netting and locking versions of MT5 automatic with the help of settings in myAlpari.
Alpari tested the locking option on ecn.mt5 demo accounts at the end of April and received a large amount of positive feedback from clients and market experts. As such, the update met expectations and trader interest from around the globe in the MT5 platform has significantly increased, reflected by the number of new accounts. Alpari clients are now the first in the world market of internet trading to be able to try out the locking version of MT5 on live accounts.
