European aerospace giant Airbus announced about the modernization of the world's largest passenger version of the A380.
Airbus stated that this model "A380Plus" will give airlines up to 80 seats and improve fuel efficiency.
On Sunday, John Leahy, chief operating officers, said that the A380plus is an effective way to offer improvement in the economy and improved operational performance at the same time.
"This is a new stage for our most popular and frequently used aircraft to meet growing demand worldwide and the changing needs of the A380 customers. The A380 has proven itself as a convenient solution at major airports, and meets all the requirements," added Leahy.
Airbus claims that A380Plus will have an increased maximum take-off weight of 578 tons, which will allow airlines to carry more passengers at a maximum distance of 8200 nautical miles or increase the range by 300 miles.
