Asian markets largely shrug off North Korea’s missile launch

Asian shares were mixed on Wednesday as Chinese stocks fluctuated between profits and losses, while the last North Korea's missile launch offset a rise in U.S. stocks.

The MSCI Asia Pacific Index inched up 0.2 percent.

Japan's Nikkei closed up 0.5 percent higher at 22,597.20.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index tickedp up 0.1 percent and the Shanghai Composite Index also increased 0.1 percent.

Australian shares jumped 0.5 percent. The South Korea's Kospi index was unchanged.
