Asian shares pull back from ten-year high

Asian stocks retreat from 10-year peak on Tuesday after the Chinese shares fell as China's regulators may limit the inflow of investors from mainland China to the Hong Kong stock exchange.

MSCI’s broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares dipped 0.2 percent from last week’s peak of 570.21 points.

China's CSI 300 index lost 0.3 percent after a heavy sell-off in the previous session. Shanghai's SSE Composite index was down 1 percent.

The Hang Seng index in Hong Kong dropped 0.6 percent.
