Asian shares rise after Wall Street’s stock market rally

Asian markets mostly up on Wednesday after a significant increase in Wall Street’s indices by more than 2 percent on Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell comments, who left the question of lowering interest rates open.

There is no significant news on Sino-American trade relations, except for information about the planned meeting of U.S. Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin with the head of the People’s Bank of China Yi Gang on the eve of the G-20 summit in Japan this weekend. This will be the first official meeting of the two sides since the negotiations reached an impasse in May.

Shares in Japan and Hong Kong regained their losses due to hopes for a Fed rate cut.
