Asian stocks rise on optimism about global growth

Asian shares rose on Monday, supported by Friday’s rebound that led to a global rally, while traders also focused on the start of trading in bitcoin futures.

The MSCI’s broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares edged up 0.5 percent to 552.38, recovering from a recent two-month low of 542.27 points.

Japan's Nikkei rose 0.6 percent while Chinese CSI 300 index jumped 1.3 percent.

The Hang Seng Index soared 0.9 percent.
