Banks push toward UK staff recruitment despite Brexit

Investment banks in the City have been employing more full-time staff for specialised finance duties, labor contractor Robert Walters told Reuters, in comments probably to ease worries about the influence of Brexit on a backbone of the UK economy.

According to Walters, banks had been concerned with filling vacancies in areas such as portfolio management, finance control, change control and risk and compliance, as well as looking for temporary staff members for information security.

At the same time, as Walters noted, banking employing trends are highly changeable and it was too early to state that the improving was firm.
