Bitcoin dips below $10,000 mark as euphoric rally loses steam

The world's most popular crypto currency, bitcoin has dropped below $10,000 mark, just 36-hours after reaching $12,000. Bitcoin has touched a Thursday trough of $9,730.98.

Bitcoin March futures on the Cboe Global Market fihished down 2.1% at $10,015. February contract on the CME Group lost 5% at $9,880.

Ether sank 3.7% to $819.55, Bitcoin cash has fallen 7% to $1,218.23, Litecoin tumbled 7.4% to $198.19 and Ripple has dipped below $1 to $0.95, sliding 7%.
