Britain consumer confidence tumbles to post-Brexit vote low

UK consumers are their least confident since the aftermath of the last summer's Brexit vote due to this month’s interest rate increase and sliding housing market, a new survey from YouGov and the Centre for Economics and Business Research showed.

A consumer confidence index dipped to 106.6 in November, down sharply from 109.3 in October.

It was the first drop since June although it stayed above the 100 level above which households are considered to be feeling sure.
