UK business investment has shrunk to minimum in a year, pulled down by lack of clarity concerning the country’s exit from the EU, as a survey shows.
The forecast for local producers was a little lower than during some preceding period, said the data by EEF manufacturers’ organization and BDO accountancy and business advisers. The survey of over 300 companies revealed their mood was cautiously upbeat.
Growth though seems frail, deems the EEF. Production firms remain optimistic and business confidence index is still up as the second 6 months of the year approach, the organization also said.
