British Chambers of Commerce downgrades growth rate forecast for 2018

UK GDP growth will slow next year to 1.2% from 1.3%, according to the British Chambers of Commerce report, released on Friday.

The medium-term outlook for the economy was downgraded due to uncertainty around Brexit and weak pound.

The European Central Bank has raised its forecast for euro area growth in 2017, to 2.2% from 1.9% as bloc's economy performing well.
