British economy is going to perform worse than other developed states

The UK economy is expected to fall behind other advanced countries in 2018 as the time of Brexit approaches, as says the estimates by the Confederation of British Industry.

Britain, which is the fifth ranking economy, is forecasted to gain 1.4% this year, the Confederation’s data. It is less than the euro zone’s projected expansion of 2.2% and the U.S. growth of 2.8%.

The UK slipped from the top place as the most robustly expanding economy in G7 to the bottom in the previous year due to drop in sterling value following the referendum on Brexit two years ago and businesses becoming wary in relation to investments.
