British millionaires expect the positive effect of Brexit on their capital

Most of UK millionaires expect to improve their welfare as a result of the country's decision to leave the EU, a survey by wealth managers at Swiss bank UBS has found.

About 78% of the more than 400 Britons with at least $1 million (£800,000) in liquid assets noted that Brexit would have a positive impact on their financial situation, despite the fall of the euro and concerns over trade relations with Europe. Among the millionaires aged 18-34 years, the figure reaches 83%, in the age group of 35-44 years it is more moderate at 70%.

At the same time, according to YouGov, 75% of British people aged 18-24 voted against the country's withdrawal from the EU.
