Croatia to become euro zone member within eight years

Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic said on Monday that Croatia would like to join the eurozone in the next seven to eight years, according to Reuters.

According to Plenkovic, the government wants the country to become a euro zone member within two government terms in office.

Croatia is a member of the European Union since 2013, but have not introduced the euro. The national currency of Croatia is kuna.
