Dollar firms against yen, euro

The dollar climbed up from last week's seven-month trough on Monday, firming against the euro and yen, ahead of European Central Bank policy meeting this week.

The greenback was 0.1 percent higher at 110.48 yen.

The single European currency dropped 0.1 percent to $1.1270, retreating from Friday's peak of $1.1285.
