The U.S. dollar rose slightly on Tuesday on optimism about a tax reform in the world's largest economy - the U.S.
The dollar got a slight push overnight, after President Donald Trump wrote in Twitter that the adopting the bill on tax reform was “coming along very well.
The greenback edged up against the yen to 111.20, but was still near a recent 2-1/2-month trough.
The euro was stable at $1.1903, within scale of a two-month peak.
Sterling traded at $1.3329.
