EasyJet predicts upbeat profits

A record number of passengers over summer has put EasyJet on track to predict solid annual profits.

The airline said it expected profits for the year ending Sept. 30 are expected to be between £405m and £410m.

EasyJet shares dipped 0.4 percent to 1,279 pence on Friday.
