ECB expects inflation to fall below 1% in 2018

According to ECB, the eurozone's inflation will probably slow to 0.9% in the 1st quarter of 2018 due to jump in oil and food prices a year earlier.

Usually, the ECB does not pay attention to the jumps of such volatile indicators and prefers to monitor CPI Core index, however, the ECB's target of just below 2% refers specifically to overall inflation.
