The European Central Bank (ECB) kept its benchmark interest rate and monetary policy stance unchanged on Thursday.
The ECB confirmed that the asset purchases will last until September, or longer, if necessary or until the Board of Governors sees a stable inflation adjustment in line with its inflationary targets.
The Stoxx Europe 600 index climbed 0.2% after decision. Euro traded at $1,2410. Versus the British pound, the common currency slid 0.2% to £0.8702.
