Euro-Area GDP rises 0.6% in Q2

Eurozone GDP accelerated by 0.6% in the second quarter of the year, according to fresh figures from Eurostat.

The economy expanded by 2.3% compared to the previous year. The euro-area is being supported by a recovering global economy, rise in consumer and business sentiment, and ECB's stimulus program.

The auto market has rebounded, while factories across the EU are enjoying a jobs boom.
