Eurozone inflation remains unchanged at 1.5%

In September, consumer prices in the euro area rose by 1.5% in annual terms, following similar August rate.

Consumer prices excluding volatile factors such as energy, food and alcohol prices (the core rate), dropped to 1.1% year-on-year after rising 1.2 last month.

While consumer confidence is rising, unemployment slowly sliding and the economy is on track for the strongest growth in a decade.
