Eurozone inflation rises to 1.5% in November

Consumer prices in the euro area in November 2017 increased by 1.5% in annual terms, up from 1.4% in October, according to the final data from Eurostat.

Consumer prices without taking into account such volatile factors as the cost of energy, food and alcohol (the CPI Core index, which is monitored by the European Central Bank), rose 0.9% in October year on month, as in the previous month.

In November, the lowest inflation in annual terms was observed in Cyprus (0.2%), Ireland (0.5%) and Finland (0.9%).

Сonsumer prices rose most notably in Estonia (4.5%), Lithuania (4.2%) and Great Britain (3.1%).
