The eurozone’s factory sector is on track to post another quarter of solid growth with manufacturing activity at the fastest rate in six years.
IHS Markit's Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index for the euro area soared to 57.4 in June, up from May's 57.0. June's reading hit a fresh six-year peak with even Greece returned to growth.
Businesses reported new orders for goods increased impressively, that led to a rise in activity and another strong month of providing employment.
The manufacturing industry is clearly expanding and looks set for extended robust growth in near future, Chris Williamson, chief business economist at IHS Markit said.
