Gazprom increased export of gas to Europe by 21% in January – February

Since the beginning of the year Gazprom has exported in far abroad countries 35.4 billion cubic meters of gas, 21% more than in January - February 2016, the company said.

In absolute terms, the increase amounted to 6.1 billion cubic meters - that is comparable with the annual volume of supplies to Austria, according to the information.

In first two months of 2017 imports of Russian natural gas to Germany increased by 23.8% compared to the same period in 2016, to France - by 38.2%, Slovakia - 11.5%, Greece - 20.6%.
