Gazprom to move unit from London due to 'hard' Brexit

Gazprom, Russia’s state-managed gas group, plans to move the London-based trading and marketing unit due to fears of losing its privileged access to the European market as a result of a "hard" Brexit, the Financial Times reported.

The company is concerned that its possibility to trade gas in Europe could be decreased or became more expensive as a result of staying in London.

It is no longer profitable to manage company's European trading business from London and the world’s largest natural gas producer must consider the consequences of the situation, according to FT sources.
