Intensified use of drones could bring £42 bln to UK’s economy

UK’s economy could benefit additional £42 bln by 2030 if drones are introduced into working practices, research shows.

Growing drones engagement in various industries as building, logistics, and others, will require hiring hundreds of thousands of people and GDP will go up by around 2%, as data by accountants PwC says.

Although these devices pose certain difficulties for pilots and police, according to the research 76,000 UAVs will work all over the country in some 10 years serving business and public purposes, and causing huge economic effect.
