Italy’s growth will be pacing down in the following months

Economic expansion of Italy is expected to slow in the next months, according to today’s data by ISTAT, the country’s office for statistics.

Composite leading indicator had kept moving down, the trend holding through the year, prompting growth deceleration, said the office’s monthly report.

In the first three months of 2018 GDP added 0.3%, past week’s figures demonstrate, decreasing from 0.4% of October-December last year. The yearly pace of expansion at 1.4% was the worst since January-March quarter of last year.
