Japan's economy expands for seven quarter in row

Japan’s GDP accelerated stronger than predicted in the third quarter due to impressive exports, posting the longest period of continuous growth in more than 10 years.

The economy grew at a 1.4 percent annual rate in three months to September, slightly above the median estimate for annualized growth of 1.3 percent, according to data from Cabinet Office.

The main reason for expansion was exports and firm global demand for Japanese goods.
