Japanese exports rises in September less than expected

In value terms, Japan's exports increased by 14.1% year-on-year in September, compared to an 18.1% rise in August, official data showed. At the same time, experts expected a 14,9% rise. 

The increase in exports was supported by supplies of semiconductors, cars and spare parts to them.

Import rose by 12%, while experts had forecast a 15.0% annual increase.
