Labor leader calls for Theresa May to resign

The Labour leader Jeremy Corbin called on Prime Minister Theresa May to leave office over her record on police cuts. According to Sky News, Corbyn will vote for May's resignation.

Former PM's aide Steve Hilton has also called for Mrs May's resignation. Mr Hilton considers that May is responsible for security failures of London Bridge and Manchester terrorist attacks.

Theresa May, as Home Secretary, cut 20,000 police officers between 2010 and 2016. On the eve of the parliamentary elections in the UK, a discussion about the ineffectiveness of the government's measures to combat the terrorist threat has come to the forefront of the political struggle
