Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn said that his party intends to provide Britain with full access to the EU markets. In this regard, he called for the creation of a customs union between the EU and the UK after Brexit.
According to mr. Corbyn, members of the Labour party have long argued that a customs union is a viable option for a final deal (between the EU and the UK). Therefore, Labor will seek to negotiate a new comprehensive customs union.
At the same time, the representative of the British Prime Minister Theresa May, who supports the withdrawal of the UK from the customs union with the EU, said that Britain does not intend to join any customs unions.
