McDonald’s staff to go on strike in UK for first time

Fast food giant McDonald's faces its first industrial action in the UK as workers at two restaurants in Cambridge and Crayford have begun the 24-hour action on Monday.

The workers want to be paid a wage of at least £10 an hour and more secure jobs.

The fast food company said those taking strike represented 0.01 percent of its staff.

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn said his party supports McDonald's employees.
