OECD calls for second Brexit referendum

Britain should abandon its departure from the EU in order to stimulate the economy growth, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) said.

"We are leaving the EU and there will not be a second referendum," the official representative of the British government said.

If Brexit would be canceled by a political decision (a change in the majority's opinion, a new referendum), this would have a significant positive impact on the growth of the UK economy, the OECD said.

The OECD predicts UK economic growth to accelerate by 1.6% in 2017 and by 1% in 2018.
