Pound dips amid political uncertainty over Brexit

The pound slumped on Tuesday after rising in the previous session, with traders prudent about concerns over Brexit talks for the year ahead despite progress in the negotiations last week.

The British currency sank 0.1 percent to $1.3363. Versus the euro, sterling eased 0.3 percent to 88.30 pence.

Investors shrugged off fresh data showing UK's firms plan to hire more workers and raise salary faster in 2018, but they also worry over country's force of attraction after Brexit.
