PwC fined £5.1m for “extensive” misconduct

The UK's Financial Reporting Council fined PwC and its partner Nicholas Boden for a series of failures in auditing of accountancy firm RSM Tenon.

PwC has to pay £5.1 million ($6.6 million), as well as pay an additional £500.000 in costs.

According to FRC, “extensive misconduct" was committed during the audit of the RSM Tenon's accounts for the year to June 2011.
