Review: Asia shares reach fresh decade peak

Asian stocks scaled another decade high on Wednesday as data showed China’s demand for imports stayed robust.

MSCI’s broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares rose 0.2 percent, its top since November 2007.

China's blue-chip CSI300 index advanced 0.6 percent, while Hong Kong stocks touched a decade peak.

Japan's Nikkei .N225 slipped 0.2 percent and Australian shares increased to its highest level since 2008.
