Review: Asian shares bounce back

Asian stocks rose slightly on Wednesday, though geopolitical concerns over North Korea’s missile launch remained.

MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares climbed 0.1 percent.

Japan's Nikkei slumped 0.5 percent.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng surged 0.6 percent and the Shanghai Composite Index was up 0.5 percent.

Euro was firm at $1.1360 and the dollar index .DXY slid 0.1 percent to 96.127.
