Review: Asian shares pull back as oil falls further

Asian shares tumbled on Wednesday after weaker crude oil prices had its effect on Wall Street.

MSCI’s broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares slumped 0.6 percent.

China’s Shanghai index fell 0.55 percent, Australian stocks dipped 0.6 percent and South Korea’s KOSPI inched down 0.4 percent.

Japan’s Nikkei sank 1.5 percent.
