Review: Asian stocks dip amid fresh threats from North Korea

Asian stocks declined on Tuesday on rising military threats from North Korea.

MSCI’s broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan lost 0.3 percent.

Japan’s Nikkei stock index slipped 0.4 percent, dragged down by a stronger yen.

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 Index was down 0.1 percent, while South Korean shares sank 0.3 percent.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index was flat after losing 1.4 percent on Monday.
