Asian shares dropped on Thursday as minutes from the Fed's last meeting showed the future pace of interest rate hikes is less clear.
MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares slid 0.1 percent.
Japan's Nikkei slumped 0.5 percent as the yen rose that subdued the forecast for export profits.
South Korea's KOSPI and Australian stocks both were down 0.1 percent.
China's CSI 300 index edged down 0.5 percent and Hong Kong's Hang Seng plunged 0.3 percent.
