Asian stocks were mixed on Monday as investors assessed the damage from Tropical Storm Harvey on the global energy market.
The MSCI Asia Pacific Index increased 0.1 percent.
Japan’s Nikkei slid 0.1 percent to 19,430.65.
South Korea’s Kospi index dropped 0.4 percent. Australian shares dipped 0.6 percent.
The Hang Seng Index climbed 0.3 percent to its top since May 2015.
