Review: Asian stocks hit 10-year peak

Asian shares climbed to a 10-year peak on Friday due to expectations of robust global economic growth.

MSCI’s broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares inched up 0.23 percent, having advanced 3.7 percent so far in October.

Japan’s Nikkei rose 1.0 percent to fresh 21-year peak.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index was flat, while China’s benchmark increased 0.2 percent and South Korea’s Kospi index dropped 0.1 percent.
