Asian stocks extended global rally to touch their top in 10 years on Wednesday amid solid world growth and growing corporate profits.
MSCI’s broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares rose 0.4 percent, buoyed by energy and technology shares.
The Nikkei 225 Stock Average jumped 0.5 percent.
Australian shares added 0.4 percent and South Korea’s Kospi index ticked up 0.4 percent.
The Hang Seng Index soared 0.6 percent and the Shanghai Composite Index advanced 0.3 percent.
