Review: Asian stocks mixed on Fed’s overnight statements on policy

Asian stocks dipped on Thursday after the U.S. Federal Reserve said it would start to shrink its balance sheet in October and hinted at another rate hike later by the end of this year.

MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares lost 0.4 percent.

Japan's Nikkei rose 0.7%. South Korea's Kospi slipped 0.2 percent, while Australian shares clumped 0.9 percent.
