Asian stocks gained to a decade peak in early trade on Monday. MSCI’s broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares advanced for a fifth straight day moving to its top since late 2007.
Japan's Nikkei rose 0.7%, on course to finish up at another 21-year peak.
Australian shares increased 0.6 percent. South Korea’s Kospi index ticked up 0.3 percent.
Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index was up 0.6 percent, while the Shanghai Composite Index dipped 0.4 percent.
