Review: Asian stocks retreat from 10-year high

Asian stocks slid from 10-year high on Friday while mainland Chinese shares fell to three-month trough on concerns about renewed government steps to restrain financial risks.

MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares inched up 0.2 percent, while Hong Kong shares advanced 0.6 percent. Japan's Nikkei finished up 0.1 percent.

The CSI300 index clumped as much as 0.9 percent to a three-month trough.
