Asian shares rebounded on Tuesday despite a further decline in U.S. stocks.
MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares jumped 0.5%, recovering about half of the losses of the previous session, as regional technological stocks rose.
Japan's Nikkei .N225 dropped 0.1 percent.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng grew by 0.4%, while Chinese stocks added 0.3%.
